The course provides the knowledge needed to fulfil the competences listed in column 1 of Table A-VI/6-2 of the STCW Code. The course is intended to provide adequate knowledge of the arguments related to the ISPS Code for the assumption of the assignment of Ship Security Officer, as defined in section A/12.2 of the ISPS Code and in section A-VI/5 of the STCW Code
